Peter Barnes Martin is a full-time musician based out of Monterey, California. His composition and performance is influenced by Americana, alternative and Jazz and can be compared to artists such as Nick Drake, Julian Lage, John Mayer and Chet Baker. Peter’s act is characterized by its down-to-earth sense of storytelling and vocals, paired with high energy instrumentals and creative improvisation. In addition to his work on the Central Coast, he has toured throughout Michigan and the Carolinas and was a professional jazz musician in New York City from 2019-2020.
