"I'd hired Ms Ferrell for a memorial service honoring a dear friend
and fellow soldier. Elise had been highly recommended by a piper/instructor
friend and she did not disappoint. She arrived early, prepared and
then warmed up. Her performance was heartfelt and sensitive. We
gave her a schedule then changed it completely. Her response was
a smile and another fine tune. I highly recommend her for your event."

Richard Pearce
"Elise is a really good bagpiper,
and she really engages the crowd when she bagpipes."

Kim Shankland, Manager
Rosie McCann's Irish Pub, Santa Cruze
"The bagpipe is a very special
instrument to me, and your playing is a wonderful addition when
you're here."

Elise MacGregor Ferrell comes from
a musical family, and studied piano and flute as a child. Inspired
by her Scottish heritage, and growing up in a family that spent
its summer weekends marching with Canada's Kincardine Scottish Pipe
Band, she later became inspired to take up bagpipes and fiddle.
Elise has been honored to perform as the "Phantom Piper" atop historic
Kincardine Lighthouse. She is a member of the Monterey Bay Pipe
Band, and enjoys competing at Highlands Games.
Elise is also frequently found fiddling at local old time jams and
barn dances, and is the founder, bagpiper and fiddler of the Celtic
band Charmas.
Elise is available to play solo bagpipes for public or private events.
She has performed for many weddings, funerals, ceremonial events
and concerts all over the Monterey Bay.
