Cisco Jim

Cisco Jim is a cowboy singer with an extensive repertoire of trail songs, buckaroo classics, and original songs of the west. Audiences like his mix of old time cowboy songs, B-Western singing cowboy music, and his own originals. His wit, wisdom, history, & humor charm people of all ages.


A long-time member of the Western Music Association, Cisco Jim is a popular attraction at the California State Historic Park in San Juan Bautista, CA. He is a collector of early California history; he researches the authenticity/origins of cowboy songs. He can tell you about the lifestyle of the vaqueros, cowboys, & buckaroos; he knows about early saddles, tack, & other gear. You can hear him sing trail songs of the late 19th century, as well as music of the Californios (Rancheros of Spanish Alta California).


Cisco & and his horse, Silverado participate in many community events, parades, etc. They have taken first place ribbons for many of their performances. In addition to performing on stage, Cisco often plays guitar & sings while riding Silverado at the park and in parades. Cisco is available to entertain at brandings, BBQs, and other western events.
