Big Al Lopez

A professional caricature artist since 1985, Al is a member of The International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA). In 1996, Big Al won the "Silver Nosey" award at the National Caricaturist Network's annual convention in Houston, Texas. At the 2000 convention, Big Al's caricature of "Atomic Jenny" was voted one of the Top Ten caricatures of the year.

Al strives to capture not just a likeness, but a personality as well. He draws live at over 100 events per year, in locations as diverse as the World AG Expo (Tulare, CA), Cartoon Art Museum (SF, CA), Sheraton Waikiki (Hawaii), Harrah's (Reno, Nevada), cruises on SF Bay, and the house next door.
