Anne Pete Sibley

Anne & Pete Sibley

Bluegrass / Folk / Country Duo

Anne & Pete Sibley

With two voices in harmony, a guitar and a clawhammer banjo, Anne and Pete Sibley have shared their music around the country and beyond for over two decades. The Sibleys’ music hit the national spotlight in 2009 with a blue ribbon finish in the “Great American Duet Sing Off” on National Public Radio’s A Prairie Home Companion. They’ve performed live at NYC’s Town Hall, Washington’s DC’s Kennedy Center and on festival stages from North Carolina’s Merlefest to Colorado’s Rockygrass.

A husband and wife duo, their fluid harmonies and songwriting take center stage, along with an easygoing stage presence. The Sibleys tell stories about life and love as they see it, and it is this quality that rings true with audiences from coast to coast. Anne & Pete’s music highlights their connection with the landscape, community, family, and even the food they grow and eat.

Both Anne and Pete are also available individually as solo performers. Anne is an award-winning vocalist who accompanies herself on acoustic guitar. Her angelic voice has been compared to Alison Krauss and Emmylou Harris. Pete is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who plays guitar, piano and banjo. From Bruce Springsteen to The Beatles, from Bob Dylan to Brandi Carlile, his love of music spans many genres and many decades.  Pete also welcomes song requests.
