"… one of the hottest acts ... these days is Wally's Swing World,
a full tuxedo, 7-piece big band with Sinatra sound-alike Wally Trindade."

San Francisco Chronicle
"Swing, the music
that had them dancing in the aisles when Benny Goodman played it
in the mid 1930's, has 'em dancing in the aisles today when Wally's
Swing World plays it at several Bay Area nightspots."

Santa Cruz based Wally's Swing World
features the smooth vocals and guitar of Wally Trindade, backed
by bass, piano, drums, and a three-piece horn section.
Wally and his seven-piece little big band recreate all the magic
of a swinging evening at the Copa. Let them transport you to a world
of style and savvy where the stars don dinner jackets, banter with
class and the band never misses a beat.
Wally's Swing World plays the standards of the swing era: Frank
Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole; the big band sounds of Benny
Goodman and Glenn Miller; jump swing; lounge; and more. The band
steps into a more "modern" mode with the tunes of Bobby Darin, Elvis
Presley and other 50s rock favorites. Wally and the boys heat things
up with a little Latin jazz, samba, salsa, and bossa nova. From
1940s swing to 1950s rock and beyond, Wally's Swing World recreates
the magic of American music's Golden Era.
Also available, Wally's Cocktail Combo is a pared down version of
Wally's Swing World. The Combo is a four or five piece band featuring
Wally on vocals and guitar. He is backed by upright bass, drums,
and piano and/or sax.
The smaller band offers Wally the opportunity to branch out musically
into 50s rockabilly and jump swing, guitar twang 60s surf rock,
neo ultra lounge, Latin jazz, samba and salsa, while still maintaining
his usual solid repertoire of cool "Rat Pack" swing.
The Combo is ideal for elegant formal events or "dress down" casual
parties. They play danceable music with an intimate sound that is
suitable for small rooms and lounges as well as larger venues; intimate
gatherings as well as grand celebrations. From jumpin' 1940s jazz
and fiery 1950s rock, to smooth 1960s lounge, Wally's Cocktail Combo
plays it with style.
They have played with a number of nationally known acts, including
Chris Isaak and Royal Crown Revue.
