Michelle Kiba is a full-time ukulele
musician, performer, educator, music therapist and recording artist.
In her role as instructor, she teaches and directs the Pa Mele 'O
Hokulea Ukulele Academy (Song of the Morning Star) in San Jose and
Santa Cruz.
She has released several award-winning albums, and has shared stages
with Na Hoku Award winners and Dancing Cat recording artists Daniel
Ho, George Kahumoku Jr., David Kamakahi and Herb Otah Jr.
Michelle leads the all-girl band, The Tiki Tones, for luau parties,
weddings, corporate events, festivals, fundraisers and more. Her
artistry as a dynamic singer and ukulele player is richly complemented
by the band with their fun, easy listening repertoire.
The band's musical style includes contemporary, traditional, and
Hapa Haole Hawaiian songs, as well as a wide assortment of easy
listening music including light jazz, pop, standards, rock and folk
music.
