Lone Prairie performs Vintage Western
Music in the style of the great groups of the 30s and 40s, such
as the legendary Sons of the Pioneers, Gene Autry & Roy Rogers.
Jack Sadler, Joe Kimbro & Paul King sing tight harmony while playing
guitar backup, award-winning fiddler Ed Neff adds an exciting traditional
sound, Rob Horgan brings his exceptional musical talent on the banjo
to the group, and the rhythm and singing provided by Louise Mintun
on bass ties it all together.
Regularly featured at events throughout the West, Lone Prairie was
proud to be nominated by the Western Music Association in the category
Song of the Year for "Desert Flower". The Academy of Western Artists
also awarded Lone Prairie with two nominations, one for Song of
the Year for "Desert Flower", the other for Album of the Year.
Lone Prairie has shared the stage with Bonnie Raitt, David Crosby,
and Jackson Browne, among others, but one of their all-time most
cherished performance memories is when they had the opportunity
to sing "Happy Trails to You" with the King of the Cowboys himself,
Roy Rogers.
