Roger Eddy is one of the Monterey Bay area's most talented and professional
musicians. This highly respected saxophonist/flautist has been playing
for almost three decades, and represents the very finest Monterey
Bay has to offer when it comes to jazz.
Roger Eddy was voted the Central Coast's Best Jazz/Blues performer
four years in a row in the Monterey County Weekly's readers' poll.
He has appeared at the Monterey Jazz Festival numerous times. In
2009, Roger also appeared at both the Monterey Bay Blues Festival
in "For the Love of Ray: An All-Star Tribute to Ray Charles" and
the Monterey Jazz Festival's 50 year anniversary concert with The
Monterey All-Stars.
From classic jazz standards to smooth contemporary favorites, Roger's
saxophone playing in any combination with keyboards, bass, drums
and guitar is impeccable.
Roger has performed with Huey Lewis, Glenn Frey, Vince Gill, Lou
Rawls, The Gatlin Brothers Band, Frankie Valli, The Robben Ford
Blues Band, and many more. He has also opened for such renowned
acts as Spyro-Gyra, Tom Scott, Toto, Larry Carlton, and The Pointer
Sisters, to name but a few.
