Roger Eddy is one of the Monterey
Bay area's most talented and professional musicians. This highly
respected saxophonist/flautist has been playing for almost three
decades.
Roger Eddy was voted the Central Coast's Best Jazz/Blues performer
four years in a row in the Monterey County Weekly's readers' poll.
He has appeared at the Monterey Jazz Festival numerous times. In
2009, Roger also appeared at both the Monterey Bay Blues Festival
in "For the Love of Ray: An All-Star Tribute to Ray Charles" and
the Monterey Jazz Festival's 50 year anniversary concert with The
Monterey All-Stars.
Roger has performed with Huey Lewis, Glenn Frey, Vince Gill, Lou
Rawls, The Gatlin Brothers Band, Frankie Valli, The Robben Ford
Blues Band, and many more. He has also opened for such renowned
acts as Spyro-Gyra, Tom Scott, Toto, Larry Carlton, and The Pointer
Sisters, to name but a few.
Teaming up with a guitarist for weddings and receptions, Roger plays
both flute and sax. This delightful twosome, known as Duo Serenade,
offers a crowd-pleasing repertoire which includes standards, Jazz,
swing, Bossa Nova, Latin, classical, and contemporary selections.
From lilting, elegant classical favorites for your wedding ceremony
