Imagine a time ... the 1940's ...
a place ... the Stork Club ... The Ritz. The posh supper club, where
one might wine and dine, entertained by the likes of Tommy Dorsey,
Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra. Now imagine a time when romance,
hopes and dreams were not out of fashion, a man might speak from
the heart and the world would listen ...
We invite you to join us in experiencing, through song and story,
the life of one of America's most influential and popular performers,
Nat King Cole, a quintessential American success story. A man whose
wit, vision, talent, dedication and most importantly, style, warmth
and sincerity, remind us of a perennial truth:
"The greatest thing you'll ever learn
is just to love
and be loved in return."
Nature Boy (1949)

Lee Durley and Joe Indence are highly
respected musicians who have been popular mainstays in the Monterey
Bay area for over thirty years, performing in the area's most exclusive
resorts and conference centers, including The Lodge at Pebble Beach.
Lee's smooth, soulful vocals backed by Joe's keyboard wizardry pay
homage to the legend of Nat King Cole with warmth and sincerity.
Long time member of the Monterey Bay Blues Festival Board of Directors,
Lee also hosts a Jazz show on local radio. Well known throughout
the California Central Coast for his deep, distinctive voice, he
has been pleasing fans for decades with his rich vocal stylings,
as well as his inimitable charm and class. Mr. Durley has performed
in clubs, festivals, and special events all over the West Coast,
Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, as well as several successful European
tours including featured performances at the Marciac and Avignon
Jazz Festivals in France, and our own world famous Monterey Jazz
Festival. His vocal texture has been compared to Lou Rawls, Nat
King Cole, and Joe Williams and his performance style blends jazz,
rhythm and blues, soulful rock, and gospel.
Leader of his own trio, Joe Indence has been a regular performer
at the Highlands Inn in Carmel for many years. Equally comfortable
with classical, jazz and popular music, Joe is well established
as one of the most talented and versatile pianists and accompanists
on the peninsula.
Their Nat King Cole tribute, "L.O.V.E." has been received with great
enthusiasm by critics and fans alike.
